Sunrise or Early Riser at Moraine Lake
Given the changing sunrise hours, the schedule changes from time-to-time. For the Sunrise itinerary, guests are given a 2 hours stay so they get the complete sunrise experience from the blue hour to the golden hour!
BUILT-IN BONUS with the Sunrise option: Visit Lake Louise afterward for another 2 hours!
Option 1: Sunrise at Moraine Lake to catch the morning rays hit the Ten Peaks, followed by a visit to Lake Louise!
Option 2: Early Riser Express (Jun 1 to Aug 15). Catch the short quiet moment. Arrive at Moraine Lake just as the Sunrise visitors start to leave, but before the Daytime visitors arrive.
Let us pick you up from your hotel, so you can continue to snooze during the wee hours en route to Moraine Lake.
Minimum of 5 participants required. If the minimum isn't met, trip will be cancelled and the fare refunded.

- Please do carry bear spray if hiking.
- Moraine Lake Lodge cafe closed during sunrise hours. Recommend to bring snacks and water.
- Restaurants at Chateau Lake Louise open at noon. Many are exclusive to hotel guests. However, the "Guide's Pantry" cafe at Chateau Lake Louise is open 24-7 and available for non-hotel guests.
- No animal allowed on the bus, as some guests may be allergic.
- Children under the age of 6 must be secured in a child seat. You may bring your own or use the complimentary child seat provided.
- This is a shuttle bus service, not a guided tour. Guests are free to explore on their own upon arrival at points of interest and must return to the parking lot by the departure time.
- The bus follows a strict schedule. If a guest miss a departure time along any point of the itinerary, seats availability cannot be guaranteed with the next bus. Guests may have to arrange their own return transportation.
